About me

Hi all. My name is George Chlapoutakis (darksyn[[at]]secbible.org).

As many of you should (in theory) know, and as the rest of you will find out, I am (and have been for the last 11 years) a Greek student in the UK, currently living in Sunderland. In my time I have been a BSc Computing, MSc Internet Engineering and nowadays a PhD research student in Digital Forensics & Network Security in the University of Teeside.

I am also a Network Security Researcher & Developer, primarily focusing on Intrusion Detection, Penetration Testing and the use of Artificial Neural Networks and Bayesian Statistical Models & Forecasting in the aforementioned areas. A coder in over 20 programming languages (yes, counting scripting & interpreted ones!), with a modicum of phreaking skills, I have been involved in lots of interesting things and areas.
